Dan & Jen Beilman
As a young child, Dan’s father placed his faith in Christ, and shortly after that, Dan joined his mother and brother in professing faith in Jesus. Growing up in Annapolis, Maryland, Dan was always involved in ministry. He spent parts of seven summers traveling around the US & Europe in various ministry opportunities. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in music performance from East Carolina University and the University of Akron. Towards the end of his graduate degree, he accepted the opportunity to serve on the worship staff at The Chapel in Akron, Ohio. (Enter Jen…)
Jen was born & raised in Akron, Ohio. She attended church regularly growing up and came to faith in Christ at a young age. She attended the University of Akron and received a degree in Business. During college, she had a number of opportunities to travel overseas and do missions. Towards the end of college, she decided to pursue formal Biblical training in the hopes of doing missions in the future. Upon graduation, she began an internship for The Chapel in Akron that involved working with International students from the university while simultaneously working on her Masters of Religion through Trinity International.
It was during this period that Dan & Jen met and got married. In 2000, they moved to Annapolis where Dan spent 5 years serving at Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Annapolis as their Worship Leader. In 2005, they moved to Lecanto, Florida and Dan began serving as Director of Worship for Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church. During this time, their family grew – Worthy in 2004, Will in 2007, and Calvin in 2009.
They are thrilled to be joining the Vienna team with World Harvest. In a city so beautiful, the brokenness and lost can easily hide; however, the Beilmans are confident that there is nothing which can be hidden from the sight of our loving, compassionate Father. They moved to Vienna in December 2010. Currently they are back in the US for 3 months so that they can be eligible to apply for their visas to return to Austria. Dan recently was admitted to the University of Vienna’s Masters of Religion program. Please pray that they would obtain their visas when they return.
