Stacey
Born on January 4, 1973 & raised on a farm in rural Iowa, Stacey moved with her mother & brother to Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, at age 11. At the beginning of her college years, she began her walk with Christ through a young women’s prayer group. She was soon brought into fellowship in an evangelical church, where she volunteered in youth ministry & sang on the worship team. In 1996, Stacey graduated from Mennonite College of Nursing with her B.S.N. & soon thereafter went on her first mission trip to Vienna, Austria & Budapest, Hungary.

Brad
On March 15, 1973, Brad was born in Hollywood, Florida, where he lived his childhood years in a believing family & was led to Christ at an early age. He studied German & International Studies at the University of Notre Dame, spending his sophomore year at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, & interning during a summer at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France. After receiving his B.A., Brad went on a Fulbright Teaching Fellowship to Vienna, Austria, where he taught, traveled, & worked with missionaries from Illinois.

Boy meets Girl
During Brad’s last week in Vienna in June of 1996, his missionary friends invited a team to come over from Illinois. It was there that Brad & Stacey first met, & a year later they married & moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Brad finished his M.Div. at Knox Theological Seminary in May, 2000, & was called & ordained in his home church of St. Andrews PCA in Hollywood, Florida. At St. Andrews, Brad served as Assistant Pastor from 2000-2004, and later as Associate Pastor during 2004-2005. The Hunters have led or been actively involved with the Mission Team, the M.O.M.S. ministry, youth ministry, college ministry, home groups, mercy ministry, & short-term mission trips to Dominican Republic, Peru, Haiti, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Mexico, Moldova, Austria, & Grenada. Outside our local church, Brad chaired the So. Florida Presbytery Mission Committee & served as Director of Mission Practicum for Knox Seminary. Our favorite roles, though, are as cook, chauffeur, fisherman, nurse, worship leader, diaper changer, swimming instructor, and shepherd to our ever-growing sheep– Luke, Abby, & Levi.

Vienna calling
Now we’re entering a new season of life and ministry, having moved to Vienna, Austria, in June 2007 to lead a church planting team, serving with World Harvest Mission. Please take some time to check out our visionvienna slide show, visit our Family Blog, and commit to praying for us!
